Hot off the presses, word from Geoff Keighley’s twitter is that Splinter Cell: Conviction has been delayed to April 2010.
Splinter Cell’s new release date is April 2010.
The game was supposed to arrive by the end of February, but has now been delayed. I’m sure this is bad news for many Xbox 360 owners, and Splinter Cell fans, but at least it is not delayed until the Fall.

Despite Modern Warfare 2 being the biggest entertainment launch in history it hasn’t stoped it from getting bombarded with numerous bugs and glitches. Recently Robert Bowling tweeted that a 360 patch will be coming to fix a few hacks and glitches. Infinity Ward have released a patch working towards a more balanced title.

The XNA platform is a bold concept that Microsoft has pioneered to bring small indie titles to the Xbox 360. Flying Squirrel Games is one such indie developer, who created Banana Split, a 2D platforming title for the service. While Microsoft has not chosen to compete with the DSi and PSPgo in the handheld market, we have something at least equal for now. The PSP has had PlayStation Network for a while now, and with Microsoft having no handheld device to use Xbox Live, the iPhone seems pretty suitable for the job.

It seems that Left 4 Dead 2 has been struggling at retail, with a UK supermarket cutting the price for the game in just over a week. This is possibly due to its release being very close to big hitters such as Modern Warfare 2 and Assassin’s Creed 2.
Tesco supermarket, one of the largest supermarkets in the UK, has cut the price of Left 4 Dead 2 to only £15! The recommended retail price (MSRP) for the game is £49.99, so this price represents a 70% price reduction in just over a week!
In any case, it is still possible that this is a mis-price, but several people who have ordered online are stating that their orders have been dispatched.
