Crackdown 2 developer Ruffian Games already spilling a tiny hint on the next installment of the Crackdown series.
In an interview with VG247, Ruffian creative director Billy Thomson went on to talk about how Crackdown 3’s city will come about:
When we go to Crackdown 3 things’ll alter again. But yeah, for Crackdown 2 it made more sense to stick in the same city, because it is pushing on from the idea of the Freak fires and how they’ve affected the city.
It’s not a case of doing it because it’s quicker. If anything it’s taken just as long to re-do what’s already there, because we’ve got to make sure we don’t break what we spent so much time getting right in the first game.
Already talking about Crackdown 3 when we don’t even have a firm release date on Crackdown 2 other than a 2010 release. I don’t know what to make of that, but for those who are fans of Crackdown, this has to be a good sign that a sequel to Crackdown 2 will be made.
