A while back two studios joined together to form Blade Games. These studios were Digini and Vyk Games. Digini specialized in XNA game engines, such as Blade 3D, and Vyk Games was a videogame art, design and development outsourcing studio headquartered in Shanghai, China. Together, they now have locations in Washington and Nanjing, China, as well as a Shanghai studio. Read more for details.

Blade Games is an outsourcing and middleware studio, and joining its ranks are two industry veterans. One hails from Electronics Arts; his name is Justin Weng. With prior experience as a lead producer and general manager at EA Pogo Shanghai, he will be a good fit for managing Blade’s outsourcing production teams.

The second industry veteran to join up is Tony Zander. This guy’s got experience with technical art director and design director positions at Microsoft, and should be an asset for Blade’s outsourced and internal projects.

Both individuals will be based in the Shanghai location.
